During one of my management training seminars at work we designed a mission statement (for me, not just for work). Here it is:
I will enjoy life to the fullest and savor each moment knowing that this exact moment is precious and will never come again. I will be a good father, husband and friend and truly connect to those around me on a meaningful level by being honest, vulnerable, and sharing my innermost thoughts and feelings. I will treat all living beings with compassion and understanding, and will set an example by being the change I wish to see in the world.
